Survey - I love Thornton Heath

I love Thornton Heath is a community based project aiming to find out and celebrate what is happening in the area.

CVA is doing a short survey to find out what activities and projects different groups, networks, associations, clubs and organisations are already doing and how they contribute to the good of your community.

For example you may belong to a resident group, an lunch club, a sports group, a youth club, a book club, a faith group, a parent and toddler group, a walking group, be a constituted voluntary organisation or something completely different - whatever it does and however big or small we’d like to know about it!

Please fill in the short survey below.

I love Thornton Heath has two aims:

· To find out about the interests, talents and skills of residents, groups and associations in the community.

· To give the community an opportunity to share and develop these skills.

If you know of any individuals who might like to share their skills please ask them to fill in some basic information about themselves.

Tell us Why ~Thornton Heath is a Great Place to Live
  • What are the gifts, talents and resources that you use?
  • What do you care enough about to act upon?

As 4 voluntary organisations: Croydon Voluntary Action (CVA); Croydon Neighbourhood Care Association (CNCA);  Asian Resource Centre Croydon ( ARCC); and Parchmore; we are looking to ‘map’ and celebrate what’s good about Thornton Heath so that others can learn about the many activities, stories and people that make it so vibrant. We’d also like to find out what people care about, what they’d be prepared to do to make it even better and what they’d need to make that happen. The heart of this project is about making real connections and encouraging healthy, active later lives. If you’d like to help please ‘drop in’ and share your ‘gifts’ and your knowledge of the assets within Thornton Heath. Local ‘Community Connectors’ will be having informal ‘listening conversations’ around the borough and will be inviting local people to tell us their stories.  We will be at the Thornton Heath Festival on 18th September come and talk to us.....
