Get Networking

CVA supports and encourages networking for information sharing, support, innovation and lobbying for change. Our networks are online and face-to-face, some are structured and organised and others are free-flowing and responsive.
As the recognised voice of the local voluntary and community sector in Croydon, Croydon Voluntary Action relies on members’ participation to build a picture of the big issues and ensure these reach the ears of those who can make a difference, through all our networks.  Click on each network for more details informaiton on what each network does:

 Why network?
  • Networks are resilient de-centralised organisational forms, with the capacity to reach a wide area to promote learning, innovation and sharing.
  • People generally belong to networks because they believe they gain either knowledge and / or support from them.
  • As an active verb, to network describes the idea of sharing information, across boundaries, often on the internet.
  • In the voluntary sector networking has also taken the form of a tool to support lobbying for improvements and change.
