We know that there is a wide range of groups involved in a variety of activities to improve and support local communities in Croydon. Each group needs a range of resources to deal with setting up, managing and developing their services.  You may want to look at the following pages:

 Useful resource - Guide to New Trusts

Community projects looking to increase their income from trust funds can purchase a downloadable digital copy The Guide to New Trusts. This was originally available in a print version but due to unprecendented demand has already sold out.

Published by The Directory of Social Change, it features 100 newly formed trusts that were registered with the Charity Commission in 2010 and early 2011. The directory costs £24.95 and lists funding areas and exclusions as well as application details.

Frustration and disappointment often accompany a grant application refusal.  Cass Business School has released a guide - The Art of Refusal -which aims to outline best practice for rejections and ensure that even refusals offer value to grantseekers.  Grantmakers may find it useful too.  Download from below:
