Finance Officer - Part-time

To provide financial and monitoring support for CVA projects and participate in CVA’s book-keeping functions. Monitoring covers non-financial as well as financial data. The role will involve regular contact with staff, other voluntary organisations and teamwork within CVA’s financial department.

You will have strong inter-personal skills, good understanding of basic accounting and the ability to set up spreadsheets and operate computerised financial systems

Salary for 14.5 hours per week is £10,247 (Including OLWA)

To identifying and creating awareness of carers and carers’ issues with other faith based and voluntary organisations within the Black and Ethnic Minority Communities in the London Borough of Croydon

We are seeking to appoint a Mental Health Outreach Worker who:

· Has understanding of the issues facing people from Black and Ethnic Communities within the Mental Health System
· Will work as an advocate for those with mental health problems whether as in patients or in the community; and also take up advocacy issues for carers and the cared for.
· Is highly motivated
· Must be computer literate
· Possess good communication and organisational skills
· Has a positive interest in mental Health issues relating to the Black and Ethnic Minority Community
· Possesses a clean driving license

Opportunity for an experienced Activities Coordinator

The tenants at Freeman Court, Stanford Road, Norbury, SW16 are looking for an experienced Activity Coordinator to come to Freeman Court once a week for 1 to 1.5 hours to do various activities such as bingo, card making, quizzes, etc with them.

They are willing to pay in the region of £25 to £30 per week to the right person.

The Co-ordinator would be required to regularly discuss with the tenants what activities they would like to do.
