The need for a transformative approach is accepted but how central will the enabling of citizens-based acvities be?

There are several discussions going on in Croydon around localities and social prescribing; come and hear from two of the leading strategists on citizens-based democracy.

Cormac Russell, Nurture Development, will speak on citizen-based democracy and on local communities as the primary units of health. Steve Reed - OBE MP (Croydon North) and Shadow Minister for Civil Society will speak on creating the space for local communities to be in control and our Director of Public Health Rachel Flowers will brief us on Croydon's public health approach to health and well being.
