Get away from the crazy Christmas rush for an afternoon and come and celebrate Yule with us!

Experience the simple joy of outdoor fun in the forest, and take part in our festival of light at sunset to celebrate the return of the sun at the darkest time of the year.

We'll be lantern, wreath and tree decoration making, hosting characters from the Gruffalo's Child story (maybe even performing it...watch this space!) face painting, finding the mysterious St Nicholas of the Wood, cooking Spiced Apple Toddy on the camp fire and there will be our usual array of home made goodies and festive hot drinks available to buy from the Winter Cafe!

Bring a picnic and if you want to, something simple to cook over the fire (sausages on sticks or a tin of hotdogs?)

Feel free to come dressed up festively or as a Gruffalo character! (Grown ups too!)

Price per child for the day is £15 (unwaged) £20 (waged) £25 (generosity) accompanying parents (up to 2 per child) and under 2's go free. Extra adults £5 each.
