CVA Strategic Plan 2024-29 - a draft for discussion

Read the draft of our Strategic Plan for the next five years.

We are delighted to share with you the draft CVA Strategic Plan 2024-29

Our three key aims are:

  • To bottle the community spirit that did Croydon so proud during Covid19 – and make it one of Croydon’s unique calling cards, as we empower residents and community groups to have a real say through their Local Community Partnerships
  • To transform local services in Croydon by giving our local voluntary and community sector (VCS) a greater role in prevention – starting at the hyper-local level with neighbourhood activities and extending to borough-wide programmes led by VCS delivery-partnerships
  • To consolidate all VCS funding sources in Croydon under one roof to achieve best value for local people - creating a single income stream may not be possible, but coordinating investment in our local VCS and maximising the return on that investment is essential

CVA’s role has extended since the pandemic to supporting the whole of Croydon’s Civil Society – so we want to hear from you all before we embark on our next five-year mission in the new year.
