CVA staff took part in the Tree Planting Day at Canterbury Road Rec on Saturday 20 January 2024. 

At the event:

- Dozens of trees were planted
- 100 people attended
- Family activities, lunch and snacks provided
- Litter picking activities

Participants had the chance to plant a tree and leave behind their own green legacy. 

Trees for Cities' partnership with Croydon Council and Croydon Climate Action's Trees for Croydon led to the initiative to plant new trees in Canterbury Road Recreation Ground.
