Ann is the CEO of local organisation CAYSH, which helps young people to overcome homelessness, and a qualified social worker with a wealth of experience in public, voluntary and private sector social care service delivery.

Commencing her career in social services and working with young people in the youth justice system, Ann gained precisely the kind of experience that made her so passionate about our service users and our work – and attractive to Nacro.

Ann spent 17 years at Nacro where she championed support for the most vulnerable in society to help change their lives and to reach their potential by addressing social exclusion, inequality of opportunity and deprivation. She crafted national policy and latterly was Assistant Director of Community and Criminal Justice Operations. In recent years Ann also gained invaluable commercial experience working in the private sector with G4S heading up their bidding department.
