Karim Hemani

Karim is a successful businessman, Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants and has been dedicated to voluntary service for over 50 years.

Karim is a serving Magistrate for over 20 years, currently works with the Samaritans and is a First Give Judge. He was also a Council Member for the Registered Nursing Home Association and a School Governor.

In addition, Karim has held senior leadership positions within his community, often working in some of the most fragile countries in the world and is acutely aware of the challenges vulnerable communities face.

In 2020, Karim received recognition from The Mayor of Croydon for his long-term contribution to voluntary work and support to the vulnerable community.

Karim is passionate about crime reduction and supporting those on the margins of society. He looks forward to continuing to work with all partners of CVA to strengthen the organisation’s endeavour.
