Charles form Friends of Whitehorse pk, Tex and local artist Eddie have come together to discuss the possibility of renovating the Selhurst railways arches after the local mural is launched. The next step is to create a campaign to approach Network Rail to allow the arches to be trialled for community use.

Waddon mums Pross and Maureen love sewing and are both quite keen to share their skills with other people in the community. They were linked with Eunice who runs CRO (Croydon Reuse Organisation) and be able to use the CRO space to run some sewing workshops. Our ABCD Best Start community builder for Waddon also spoke to Home-Start Croydon for a potential venue and there is the potential of getting a couple of sewing machines as donations. South Norwood resident Richard would like to organise a paralympic cycling race as part of next year's Community Peace Cup, to make it more diverse. Our Best Start ABCD community builder was able to link him up with Wheels for Wellbeing and Ray from the Lions so that his idea can be considered for next year's event.
