Andrew lives near Wandle park in Waddon. He has plenty of experience in orgasing events, through his previous job at a local authority, and would like to give back to the community.  Every summer holidays Croydon Council used to run sports sessions for children in the park, which were organised by Andrew and he really enjoyed them.

He is now considering organising them as a community project. He would like to use his skills, tap into the local community and involve local Councillors too.

Trevor is a single dad who has a 4 year old son. He is a person who had a job and a regular income but had to give it up after being reunited with his son so that he could look after his child. His passion is to connect with other single fathers like himself as he feels that they will be able to understand each other's challenges and support each other. Trevor decided to start a Single Dad's Club - a community group for single dads! He has created a Facebook page and will use public venues and the outdoors.He has also done safeguarding and first aid training as well as his DBS. He has been offered a plot by Good Food Matters!

Waddon mums Pross and Maureen love sewing and are both quite keen to share their skills with other people in the community. They were linked with Eunice who runs CRO (Croydon Reuse Organisation) and be able to use the CRO space to run some sewing workshops. Our ABCD Best Start community builder for Waddon also spoke to Home-Start Croydon for a potential venue and there is the potential of getting a couple of sewing machines as donations.
