South Norwood resident Richard would like to organise a paralympic cycling race as part of next year's Community Peace Cup, to make it more diverse. Our Best Start ABCD community builder was able to link him up with Wheels for Wellbeing and Ray from the Lions so that his idea can be considered for next year's event.

A group of local residents have created the budding FUN RG group ("Funergy"! Friends of Upper Norwood Recreation Ground) and recently met with Wicksteed, Mifitability and Jay (Community radio) to see the site for a potential outdoor gym; it could be used by local residents wanting to exercise. They were linked up by our Best Start ABCD community builder for South/Upper Norwood with Peter, the Chevening Hub director, who renovated and runs a great community centre in the area.
