Danny is a volunteer that runs the Hive at St John's in Upper Norwood. In June he will finish his training as a SPA Pastor and would like to put on a day of holistic therapies for women on low income, especially mum's. Men are welcome too! Victoria, a church warden, will do the posters and our builder will connect him to the local GP surgery as well as a range of local parents who have expresse an interest in offering their skills/expertise for similar sessions.

South Norwood resident Richard would like to organise a paralympic cycling race as part of next year's Community Peace Cup, to make it more diverse. Our Best Start ABCD community builder was able to link him up with Wheels for Wellbeing and Ray from the Lions so that his idea can be considered for next year's event.

A group of local residents have created the budding FUN RG group ("Funergy"! Friends of Upper Norwood Recreation Ground) and recently met with Wicksteed, Mifitability and Jay (Community radio) to see the site for a potential outdoor gym; it could be used by local residents wanting to exercise. They were linked up by our Best Start ABCD community builder for South/Upper Norwood with Peter, the Chevening Hub director, who renovated and runs a great community centre in the area.
